Compatibility of food system and minimalism in Ultralight
I went to Tanzawa in the middle of the consecutive holidays.
Last year, I went on a vertical run from Yabitsu Pass to Mt. Tono during consecutive holidays, but this time I used a piston from Okura to Mt. Tanzawa.
Last time, everyone was still refraining from doing so, and it was great to be vacant because I was listening to the government, but this year it was crowded with many hikers as expected because no one was listening anymore. It was almost in the Fuji Rock state.
I won't go to the popular mountains on holidays anymore lol
Over the past year or so, we have been promoting the conversion of mountaineering equipment to UL.
Every day I just test Zack and clothing for domestic and foreign garage brands.
I'm looking for something that can be used in the mountains and in everyday life. I didn't want to increase the number of specialized tools called "mountain tools" while living a minimal life, so I shifted to the idea that I should use mountain tools in my daily life.
Now when I spend time in the city, I use the same tools that I use in the mountains. Especially around clothing and kitchen.

During the activity, there are many bars because of the ease of eating. All of them are natural and are so good that you want to eat them on the ground.
At the top is the original mountain rice of Kamoshika Sports. It feels like alpha rice, but in the worst case you can eat it as it is without reconstitution with hot water. It seems to be useful as an emergency food.
At the beginning, I used to bake Wiener and make various things, but in the end, it became troublesome and all I could do was "rehydrate with hot water".
It is also advantageous in terms of weight and speed, so it seems that many Ultralight people will do so.
If you focus only on the system that rehydrates with hot water, the number of cookers will be minimal. All you have to do is boil the water.
If you use an alcohol lamp, you can reduce the weight and size even more, but considering the stability and maintenance effort, it is currently a burner group.

The OD can fits comfortably in the titanium cup of Evernew.
What's even better is that it's the perfect size to boil the hot water needed to bring back the alpha rice and the hot water for drinking tea or coffee at the same time. Not too big, not too small.
It has become a recent mountain rice routine to boil about 400 ml of hot water, return the alpha rice, and drink tea while waiting.
Evernew Titanium Cup 400FD, I was wondering if I should try it because it was discovered that a 105mm OD can can fit in this slightly smaller 400FD. The extra weight and space is like UL's destiny that makes you want to scrape it, but I wondered if this would leave hot water for tea. Experiments and calculations are required.
With UL equipment, I think the approach to mountaineering has changed. By changing to trail running shoes, it is no longer necessary to have separate mountain shoes.
Try using Brooks shoes and it fits perfectly. Now I'm running on a pair of runs in the city. At first, it was over-engineered to run on the road, and I thought it would have some physical and mental impact, but there was no problem at all. Rather, you will want to actively enter the park and off-road. Like a boy who bought boots for the first time. Lol
This allows you to move seamlessly between the city and the mountains.
Given that the sea, towns, and mountains are all connected, I realize that wherever I go, it's just a "movement."
